Local-first desktop engineering.
Built in-house and for other companies.
The Silo Forge is an independent engineering workshop. It develops its own desktop software, such as ScriptCast, and takes direct contracts for desktop systems, hardware integration, and offline-first applications.
Desktop production workstation for full-cast audio dramas. Parses structured YAML scripts, drives local voice and sound synthesis through ComfyUI, mixes multi-stem timelines with FFmpeg filter graphs and timeline-based ducking, and masters to EBU R128 or Audible / ACX targets before packaging FLAC, MP3 and M4B. Not currently distributed.
Desktop software and hardware integration under direct contract: CNC and industrial machine control, unattended kiosks, enterprise data synchronization, and offline-first clients. 18 years of experience.
The Empty House
Pilot episode of a planned series of full-cast adaptations of public-domain ghost stories. Characters, dialogue, ambience, music, spatial placement, and mastering targets are defined in a single YAML script and rendered locally.
The pilot is the end-to-end test of the pipeline: script parsing, multi-voice generation, stem normalization, timeline mixing and ducking, broadcast loudness mastering, and chaptered M4B packaging. Testing is in progress.
